The Washington Capitals are partnering with Hockey Fights Cancer Assist!
Hockey Fights Cancer Assist is a national program in partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Hockey League.
By supporting the American Cancer Society through the Hockey Fights Cancer Assist program, funds raised through this partnership with the National Hockey League support patient services such as the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge®, Road to Recovery® programs and the ACS help line.
HOW DOES HFC ASSIST WORK?
Sign up your local youth hockey team and register. After you register, a representative from the American Cancer Society will reach out to equip you with all the online tools you'll need as well as send you official HFC helmet decals, and lavender stick tape to help you promote your Hockey Fights Cancer initiatives. Once your team registers and chooses your Hockey Fights Cancer game it will added it to the schedule below.
Last season 24 local teams participated in the HFC Assist program raising nearly $40,000 in total.
The Washington Capitals will be supporting local hockey teams that participate by providing giveaways, extra lavender tape, and prizes for the top fundraisers. Register today and help the #CapsFightCancer campaign.
