The Washington Capitals are dedicated to providing the community with legitimate avenues to playing all forms of hockey. Heading into it's third year, the Capitals Inline Hockey League (CIHL) solidifies a competitive travel hockey option for existing inline players.

The Capitals Inline Hockey League (CIHL) is a co-ed league established to provide a unified travel league for existing inline hockey players looking to expand their opportunities to play.
Season: November - March
Divisions: Elementary School, Middle School, High School
Games: 5 tournaments, 2 games per team per tournament, 10 total games per team

- Fredericksburg Phantoms (Fredericksburg, VA)
- Madison Wildfire (Madison, VA)
- NOVA Fury (Reston, VA)
- Richmond Renegades (Hanover, VA)
- Winchester Revolution (Winchester, VA)
registration process & eligibility
Registration:
- Local existing inline hockey players ages 8-18
- Players must have either:
- Played on an inline house hockey team within the past 12 months for the registering club OR
- Committed and registered for the next inline house hockey season with that club
Registration Process
- Club communication
- Participating clubs announce tryout info to existing families
- Interested players register for tryouts through their local club director
- Tryouts & rostering
- Clubs hold individual tryouts to form age-group teams
- Clubs submit final rosters to Capitals
- Final Registration
- Parents/guardians of rostered players compete registration through Capitals
- Registration fees vary by club ($50 - $200 per player)
